CAN I USE THE KITCHEN? / CAN I USE THE BAR?
The kitchen services are for CIC Client use only.
When renting Venture Cafe, events are allowed to use and serve off of the bar, but the beer taps are not available for use.
There are drinking fountains located at the north end of the building. There are sinks in the kitchen and behind the bar in Venture Cafe.
Both locations bring in lunch vendors to serve lunch out of the kitchen spaces. The schedule for vendors is generally available the week before and listed at: ciclunchbox.com
Events are welcome to bring in any kind of food, as long as the caterers are not serving the food to attendees. If caterers are serving, CIC requires a Certificate of Insurance from the Catering Company. The specifics of the requirements are listed in the Event Contract.
Alcohol is permitted for events where all attendees 21+. Uncatered events that have a mix of attendees must have a TIPS Certified bartender serving the alcohol. Additionally, events with over 150 attendees require a caterer or a certified bartender, regardless of attendee age.
